Black Ops 2 Surpasses $1 Billion In Sales
Contrary to some analyst’s predictions, Black Ops 2 has been selling like crazy. Proof? Activision has revealed the latest Call of Duty game has reached the $1 billion mark quicker than..well anything before.
Activision announced that within Call of Duty: Black Ops 2′s first 15 days it reached the $1 billion mark; breaking Modern Warfare 3′s record of 16 days. Activision also compared it to James Cameron’s Avatar, stating that it took that movie 17 days to reach $1 billion; yet with the price of a ticket compared to video games – that really doesn’t matter.
