PS4 won't require a constant online connection
Details of the PlayStation 4 keep rolling in after last night’s press conference for the reveal of the new system. Speaking with Eurogamer, Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida, stated that the PlayStation 4 will not require a constant connection to the internet.
“Oh yes, yes, you can go offline totally,” Yoshida said. “Social is big for us, but we understand there are some people who are anti-social. So if you don’t want to connect to anyone else, you can do that.”
